Job Description

In this role you will define and execute processes necessary to determine the business priorities of an industry leading organization, including conducting primary research, financial assessment, return on investment, costs, and impact to user experience. You should have experience with product management processes, programs, and internal reports, while having the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

The Global Payroll Technology Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of payroll systems. This a key leadership role within the Coca-Cola Global Payroll team supporting 87 countries. This role requires expertise in information technology to ensure seamless integration between various tools and applications as well as a strong understanding of payroll processes, laws, and best practices. Payroll technology products include SAS solutions provided by payroll processing partners, time tracking, system integrations across Payroll, HR, Finance and business IT solutions, add-on payroll input tools, and, in collaboration with Finance data management, Payroll reporting and analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll system issues, working closely with IT support teams.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, negotiating contracts, monitoring their performance, and supporting SOX review processes.
  • In conjunction with Payroll operations teams, ensure compliance with all applicable payroll tax laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on changes in legislation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance within the Global Payroll Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Train and support end-users, providing exceptional customer service and timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on payroll system configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for payroll technology improvements, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Implement and manage data security and privacy protocols for confidential employee information, including system access administration.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processing and reporting, improving accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee the selection, customization, and integration of payroll, payroll data capture, and time tracking software and systems to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing key Payroll integrations between Equity and Benefits partners (e.g., retirement, health)
  • Experience with major payroll, time tracking and HR technology platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, Kronos, UKG or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or commensurate employment experience
  • Extensive experience in managing payroll systems (5+ years).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Base Salary: $108,700 to $143,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, are offered.
