Your New Role

The People & Culture Partner, Coordinator will support the Technology People & Culture team as well as the business by assisting in the development and execution of HR initiatives that ensure Warner bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice, providing solutions to employee-related matters, and assisting with general project management, conflict resolution, relationship management, etc. This position relies heavily on the use of Excel (including complex formulas) and Workday. This position will be located in Atlanta.

The People & Culture Partner, Coordinator will be a positive self-starter who can think strategically about big picture business goals as well as tactically execute a full range of People & Culture initiatives. In this dynamic culture, the role will serve as a partner to the business and a liaison with the broader HR community of Warner Bros. Discovery. Candidates for this position should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and be able to engage with colleagues across level, location, and discipline. The role must effectively work in a fast-paced creative environment, bringing an energy and enthusiasm to the function, founded in sound strategy.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Create presentation decks, charts, graphs, and various materials, as needed
  • Develop strong working relationships with all People & Culture COE functions (including Recruitment, Learning & Development, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits) to provide ‘seamless’ support and guidance to the business
  • Work with data and metrics, using Excel and Workday
  • Coordinate with external temporary agencies
  • Serve as a People & Culture point of contact, intake information/requests from employees and managers, and assist the Technology People & Culture team to resolve in a proactive and positive manner
  • Handle on-boarding and off-boarding process for all employees (full-time, temporary and intern)
  • Handle routine inquiries, correspondences, and departmental administration for the Technology People & Culture team
  • Apply and communicate company policies
  • Support the Technology People & Culture team by providing project coordination and assisting in the implementation of corporate programs, talent management, compensation planning, employee development, succession planning, performance management, change management initiatives, etc.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in working with a culturally diverse workforce
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within Human Resources
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization and project management skills
  • Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices
  • High level of proficiency with Excel formulas, formatting, pivot tables and other analytical functions
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Strong in communicating with others and builds strong relationships with colleagues and employees
  • Good judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company and employees
  • Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn, grow and develop
  • Collaborative working style
  • Knowledge of national, state and local Employee and Labor Relations practices, laws and regulations
