The DoubleTree Deerfield Beach is ready to add a dynamic Director of Sales to our close-knit, positive sales team who is responsible for booking the premier event space in the area. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, driven Director of Sales to enhance an already successful team.
As a leader in vertically-integrated hospitality, we’ve successfully developed and managed a growing portfolio of top-tier branded assets throughout some of the most pivotal moments in the last three decades- proving our position as one of the industry’s premier hotel investment groups. Wurzark Hotel Group is a premium hotel portfolio and a great core management team, with hotels currently under construction and a robust acquisition pipeline, looking to build out our above-property support functions.
Director of Sales Responsibilities:

• Assist in deal negotiations and ongoing account management for designated small accounts
• Lead local ad sales partnerships and other marketing initiatives
• Support contractual compliance monitoring and reporting
• Keep our event spaces booked out with clients who love our gorgeous spaces as much as we do
• Ensure that our guests & clients have a fantastic experience while they plan, experience, and attend their events
• Represent Wuzark Hotel Group at client events/meetings
• Stay abreast of industry trends in order to bring creative new ideas to the groups booking events at the Sheraton Valley Forge
• Maintain team’s contact and client management system

Director of Sales Qualifications:

• Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented, collaborative team player
• 5+ year successful track record of sales experience in the hospitality space
• Proficient in all basic Microsoft office applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
