Dealership:

The Recruiting Manager implements and manages the recruitment processes and employment programs as directed by the Sr. Recruiting Manager. Aligned with our core values to Earn Customers for Life, Take Personal Ownership, Improve Constantly and Have Fun, the Recruiting Manager works in coordination with their Recruiters, Hiring Managers and other team members to the ensure recruiting processes align with current and future workforce needs. The Recruiting Manager is responsible for the day to day supervision of the Recruiters in their assigned area. The Recruiting Manager is responsible for ensuring that all core level recruitment needs are being met. In addition, the Recruiting Manager supports the Senior Recruiting Manager with the sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for management, hard to fill and/or critical need positions within their assigned area. Ultimate objective is to drive a high level of Hiring Manager satisfaction while promoting an efficient time to fill and a positive candidate experience.

The Recruiting Manager reports to the HR Director for this region.

Location: Michigan (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned
  • Work in a coordinated effort with recruiters to develop a recruiting Talent Network of top-quality candidates through targeted and strategic sourcing methodologies
  • Source, pre-screen and interview candidates for core positions
  • Offer and support a solutions-driven approach to developing and enhancing Hiring Manager relationships throughout area of influence. Ensure recruiters are actively engaged with Hiring Managers and are responsive to their needs
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to develop a highly effective recruiting team
  • Continually work towards developing a better candidate and new team member 1st day experience
  • Implement effective communications with and in support of Hiring Managers. Directly engage Hiring Managers on a consistent basis; travel to key markets.
  • Candidate Experience (10%)
  • Ensure recruiters meet recruiting expectations required of position
  • Support the Senior Recruiting Manager with the sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for management, hard to fill and/or critical need positions within their assigned area
  • Coach recruiters and Hiring Managers on interviewing skills, assessments, and effective use of hiring resources
  • Partner with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, GVPs and Senior Recruiting Managers to ensure customer focused, “right fit” candidates are selected for filling positions
  • Partner on the creation of and implement effective recruiting marketing campaigns that are focused on sourcing qualified candidates. Marketing materials will include multi-channel advertisements, hiring events, career fairs and targeted job programs
  • Hiring Manager Experience (15%)
  • Review and approval responsibility of individual candidate background results and exception hires
  • Active Recruiting (50%)
  • Support the Human Resource Business Partner on workforce strategy initiative and keep them informed of appropriate items
  • Proactively work with Hiring Managers and Human Resources to identify and facilitate growth of a top internal talent pool
  • Supervision of Talent Leads (25%)

Skills and Qualifications
