Overview:

The Director of Sales & Business Development is responsible for the development of strategic partnerships. Consistently and successfully cultivate new incremental revenue opportunities to scale new Pellucid Labs engagements. This is an uncapped Commission based remote opportunity. If you are a growth driven, consultative sales leader with a proven track record of success in staffing industry then this could be a great fit for you.


Responsibilities:

  • Leverage previous experience to qualify client expectations and advise clients on team augmentation solutions
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery to customers
  • Convert leads to opportunities and work to bring in new clients while managing existing accounts
  • Comfortable cold-calling, scheduling appointments for client visits, and attending networking events
  • Driven to meet or exceed activity, revenue, and profit goals
  • Develop, implement, and manage sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed client requirements
  • Build a portfolio of leads by cold calling, networking, and conducting consultative meetings with potential client leaders, C-suite Executives and Procurement to identify Offshore & Nearshore staffing needs within the technology and software development space
  • Conduct market research and uncover industry trends
  • Stay up to date with industry trends relating to staffing verticals – e.g., IT, Engineering and Software Development
  • Identifying new B2B prospects, qualifying new clients, interacting with potential end-users/decision makers, establishing communication channels and strong relationships with new and existing clients, performing rate and fee negotiations, and identifying cross-selling opportunities within all levels of client organizational structures


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience qualifying, creating & developing, and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Must be capable of building strong relationships with hiring managers
  • Successful track record of business development and account management within the Offshore & Nearshore staffing industry
  • Goal-oriented team player with excellent presentation skills
  • Coachable, take direction and think independently
  • Experience with search engines, job platforms, marketing software, and social media platforms
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
