Job Description
Summary


The primary purpose of this position is to design, implement and oversee associate experience initiatives across the enterprise. Provide leadership, guidance and innovative programs that proactively encourage an inclusive culture as well as initiatives that support Rite Aid as an Employer of Choice. The ability to establish strategic partnerships and to effectively influence and enroll others in fulfilling strategic objectives is essential. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:


  • Research world-class best practices for employer of choice initiatives to enhance the associate experience. Incorporating best practices in workforce engagement drivers and leadership competencies to elevate the associate experience.
  • Develop and lead Rite Aid’s listening strategy to improve associate engagement & retention for the enterprise, which includes but is not limited to, coordinates vendor partnership, survey design, response collection and analysis, communication of results, and managing the action planning process.
  • Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and industry standards; builds partnerships with external stakeholders to manage and participate in “Best of “organization recognitions/awards.
  • Analyze associate life cycle data at the enterprise level with the ability to interpret findings for executives and Board of Directors with the ability to interpret findings, identify gaps, as well as solutions for improvement. Develops & conduct effective presentations and training as applicable
  • Manage the development and execution of the company-wide associate experience (AE) strategy which includes the Associate Value Proposition (AVP), collaborating with all levels of leadership and functions to position the organization as an employer of choice. Partners with key stakeholders to integrate key elements of the AE into core HR processes focusing on the associate lifecycle from onboarding to exit with strong emphasis on recruitment, total rewards, learning and development, performance management, and succession.
  • Lead the ongoing management of the AVP, partnering with Communications and Marketing to support the aspirations of the culture and strengthen the employment brand.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with and drive our stated desired culture and employer brand.
Supervisory Responsibilities


This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.


The typical starting pay range for this position is between $136,400 - $176,100 annually, although wages can very based on experience and geography.


Qualification Requirements


To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:


Education And/or Experience


  • Project Management required.
  • Proficiency Directing Associate Experience Programs preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in Human Resources/ Organizational Effectives/Organizational Development preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Human Resources, Communication or Related Field required.

  • Other: Organizational Development Certificate preferred
