We specifically focus on the integration of systems related to experience strategy and design, WCM/CMS strategy and implementation, optimization and personalization, marketing automation, CDP and data analytics.

About You

Objectives of this Role:

As the Associate Director of User Experience, You are a talented and driven designer who enjoys tackling deep, challenging creative problems, and coming up with elegant solutions that will improve the customer experience. Our UX team is the nerve center of our design process and takes a hefty share of responsibility for the success of projects.

• Position type: Contract to Hire
• Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• As a senior practitioner in the organization, you will enthusiastically mentor others and help to further refine and improve internal UX and UI processes.
• In collaboration with the UX Director, you will help scope projects, refine briefs and define UX activities
• In partnership with the UX team and strategists, you will advocate for the user and business throughout the design process; ensuring the needs of both parties are met.
• Putting your technical skills and proficient systems thinking to use, you will deliver heuristic evaluations, competitive audits, user stories, UX maps, site maps, user flows, wireframes, component libraries; prototypes, annotations
• Using your UX strategic skills you will collaborate with other teams to understand business requests, requirements, and deliverables.
• Based on your interests and expertise, you may run and/or support discovery research and participate in the development of design assets including journey maps, personas and/or mindsets

Skills and Qualifications:

• Risk-taking in design, pushing past the obvious, and making something you love.
• 8+ years of experience creating interfaces or large-scale digital experiences
• Agency experience not required but a plus.
• A passion for improving and promulgating design processes.
• Engaging presentation style and visual communication skills—you should be insanely excited about your work and know-how to spread that enthusiasm.
• Direct client interaction experience with the ability to build relationships, understand client vision/direction, and present designs and concepts.
• Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch should be core elements of your toolbox.
• Ability to turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups in an iterative, agile environment
• Strong up-to-date body of work and online portfolio (this is a must-have) that is impressive immediately. Portfolio/work samples must demonstrate experience creating great user-centered design solutions, wireframes, and prototypes.
