Job Summary & Responsibilities


Nevro is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support in developing and administering compensation programs for Nevro. In this position, you will oversee various responsibilities providing day to day compensation support. Audits jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities. Reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary assignment, providing compensation recommendations, supporting our annual focal planning process. This position will also provide compensation reporting and metrics. Be responsible for maintaining our compensation tool, supporting our sales compensation team, equity compensation program, survey submittals, and other activities. Reporting into Sr. Director, Total Rewards, this position is located on-site in our Redwood City HQ.


  • Support our annual focal merit process. This would include working with our third-party comp tool vendor for setup, design, testing, data management and
  • Stay relevant with compensation best practices and look for continuous improvement at all times.
  • Assist with promotion and new hire compensation activities as well as monthly equity reporting
  • Complete annual and quarterly Radford & Mercer survey submittals.
  • Partner to help create yearly salary structures and equity structures.
  • Partner with other People Operation Partners and other cross-functional teams for day-to-day compensation support
  • Support Sales Operations with reporting needs and data analysis
  • Support our PayScale compensation tool
  • Prepare ad-hoc and regular management reports and metrics.
  • Assist with job descriptions and job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy.
  • Help support Nevro’s Compensation
  • Manage the RSU/stock grant approval process.
  • Other duties as assigned


Role Requirements


BA/BS degree required or equivalent related experience


Minimum Of 2 Years Of Compensation Experience.


Skills and Knowledge


  • Must be willing to question the status quo and when necessary and offer alternative, constructive
  • Skilled at managing programs.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Results driven.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment.
  • Experience supporting a Medical Device organization a plus
  • Great analytical
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion at all times.
  • Must have great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to create and conduct analytics using Excel and other tools as needed.
  • Experience with CompXL and PayScale is a plus.


Target Pay Range


$85,662 to $117,786 - the final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. *Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
