- Create, scale, and maintain essential HR programs to support the organization’s needs in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Oversee the management and administration of benefits programs, including but not limited to 401(k), life insurance, health insurance, dental plans, flexible spending programs, worker’s compensation, and other related employee benefit programs.
- Help design, review, and administer incentive/bonus/merit/equity programs robust performance management program that incorporates company values and behaviors.
- Lead job architecture/leveling, compensation philosophy and pay equity review that are internally equitable and externally competitive.
- Develop, and implement, and maintain compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent and incorporate company values and behaviors.
- Responsible Partner closely with the People Operations Manager for leading the design, annual planning, deployment, and execution of benefit program initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate HR controls design and adherence along with appropriate permissions design for HR systems and access to HR records.
- Continuously monitoring the federal, state, and local employment law landscape to ensure policies and practices and in compliance and adjusted as needed to protect the interests of the employees and the company.
- Review existing HR policies and procedures and update to be in line with legislative and audit requirements.
- Oversee the US immigration process as a key contact with outside counsel and ensure immigration practices are followed.
- Endure GDPR Compliance (in partnership with Director, People in EMEA, and VP, IT).
- Partner closely with cross functional teams to iterate and build to-scale infrastructure to support HRIS administration, payroll, benefits, onboarding, off-boarding, visa and immigration, and other important moments along the employee lifecycle.
- Provide insights and recommendations to continually improve People Operations strategy by leveraging data to define areas of improvement.
- Drive HR Operations thought leadership, transformation, and innovation.
- Lead strategic HR Operations focused on building tools and processes that scale and support people activities across the company.
- Provide oversight to ensure that payroll people operations are accurate and seamless and in compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and applicable labor laws.
- Serve as a thought partner and coach for senior leaders to grow their leadership capability. Enable high-performing senior leadership teams, and as a result highly engaged, high-performing organizations delivering on our vision and strategy.
- Complete People Team projects by clarifying objectives, setting clear timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information, analyzing results, and preparing final findings and recommendations
- Establish a strong relationship with business leaders to coach, guide, and support on how to manage and resolve complex org and talent issues appropriately.
- Provide strategic advice, counsel, and consultative solutions to executives on people management aspects of their business, including driving organizational development, team effectiveness, executing change management strategy, employee engagement solutions, and employee relations.
- Comfortable as a "player / coach" manager; you’re rolling up your sleeves to get things done, while providing ongoing mentorship, training and development to the team
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and create strong workplace boundaries
- Experience managing multiple People functions, balancing compliance and business needs and juggling short-term requests with long-term priorities and goals
- Fiercely curious, listens to understand, observes to learn
