Job Description

The Compensation/Total Rewards Analyst is a key contributor in the administration and development of the Total Rewards programs, while ensuring equitable and legally compliant administration and execution of total rewards programs. Responsibilities include performing a wide variety of tasks with the purpose of supporting and administering various compensation, benefits, and employee engagement programs to enhance our culture and drive employee motivation, recognition and retention across the organization.


Essential Job functions/ Duties:

  • Audits HR data regularly and partners with HRIS to ensure data integrity across all systems.
  • Documents and maintains plan documents, policies and procedures for compensation and benefits processes to create consistency and efficiencies across the organization.
  • Provide support on employee surveys, pulse checks, and other ongoing and ad hoc surveys to gain valuable insights and help develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to existing systems and processes, driving efficiencies.
  • Evaluates jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions, including FLSA reviews.
  • Processes wage and salary changes resulting from merit increases, promotions or other job changes, or market adjustments, and payments associated with commission or incentive compensation plans.
  • Maintain and administer the annual employee wellness, engagement and culture calendar.
  • Maintains accurate survey and market match data in the appropriate tools.
  • Participates in administration of annual performance management, incentive, or merit increase programs.
  • Assists with managing vendor administration/relationships and engage with vendors throughout the year to support various total rewards programs.
  • Adheres to Local, State, and Federal regulations related to total rewards programs.
  • Partners with payroll for ongoing benefits programs audits.
  • Assists with incentive plan management (monthly/quarterly plans), including maintaining plan documents and signed agreements.
  • Supports the day to day administration for all benefit programs and events, including partnering with vendors to find solutions, resolve issues, ensure data integrity, assisting with annual health fair, open enrollment, and other events, etc.
  • Engages in a variety of HR and Total Rewards related initiatives, including ad-hoc studies, projects and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government reporting regulations and requirements.
  • Help cultivate an inclusive and positive culture through meaningful employee engagement programs and DEI initiatives, including employee recognition, DEI activities, etc.
  • Provides day to day administrative support for goal-setting and performance management processes.
  • Assists in preparing compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other compensation actions.
  • Supports the effective design and administration of compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee engagement programs aligned with company strategy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Target Candidate Profile:

  • CCP / CBP certification or working towards certification.
  • System/process documentation and data analysis.
  • Resourceful "outside the box" thinker.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • ADP WorkForce Now experience is very desirable.
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience in Compensation, Benefits, Employee Engagement administration preferred.(70% Comp, 15% Benefits, 15% Employee Engagement)
  • Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Flexible to changing environments.
  • Advanced technical and quantitative skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel, business analysis tools).
  • High level proficiency with Excel (e. g., v-lookups, pivot tables, if/then formulas) and a proven ability to consolidate and manipulate large data sets with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent collaboration, project management, and organizational skills.


Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Advanced technical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to create detailed reports from various HR data sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced technical and quantitative skills using Microsoft Excel, business analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level proficiency with Excel (e. g., v-lookups, pivot tables, if/then formulas) and a proven ability to consolidate and manipulate large data sets with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.


Education and Experience:

  • Have an understanding on local/state/federal employment laws.
  • CCP / CBP certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience in Compensation, Benefits, Employee Engagement administration preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of HR, Systems, Payroll, Timekeeping, Compensation and Benefits administration preferred.
