Who We Are Looking For:
Thrive Causemetics is looking for an exuberant Office and People Coordinator to support the People Team and the LA Office & Innovation Center. This candidate must be highly organized, self-directed, collaborative and task motivated. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office while also assisting the People Team in various administrative tasks.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and catering, and provide administrative support to team members
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and snacksLiaise with building management as main POC for Thrive Causemetics, this can include visitor requirements, event management and scheduling repairs or maintenance work
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveriesMaintain office policies and procedures and implement necessary improvements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
  • Coordinate company meetings, training sessions and employee engagement events, specifically sending the invite, hosting the session, setting up, taking down, ordering food, and setting up Uber Eats program
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, Slack messages and other requests, directing them to the appropriate teammate and ensuring timely responses
  • Additional tasks related to office management and people team as needed
  • Support the new hire onboarding process, including facilitating, scheduling and presenting
  • Responsible for a variety of administrative/clerical duties (creating folders on the Google drive, etc.)

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Strong desire to learn Human Resources best practices and foundational knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • A team player with a positive attitude, approachable demeanor, and ability to foster a collaborative work environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Zoom, Google Meet or other virtual meeting platforms
  • 2+ years of experience in an office management, HR, or other similar roles
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

The base pay range for this role is $25.75/hour -$32/hour, with the following factors determining the base pay at offer: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Additionally, this role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
