  • Ensure that employee benefit inquiries/concerns are addressed/resolved timely and accurately
  • Monitor and approve benefit-related Workday business processes, and troubleshoot system issues (including vendor integration file data or transmission errors)
  • Lead new or existing benefit program implementation and enhancement efforts, including annual Open Enrollment and wellness
  • Provide benefit data and reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required or necessary
  • Work collaboratively with the HRBP, Payroll and HCM teams to ensure benefit payments, deductions and contributions are processed timely and accurately
  • Keep abreast of applicable laws and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., ACA, ADA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, and other applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws impacting benefits, wellness, workers compensation, leaves, accommodations, disability management, etc.)
  • Together with Phreesia’s health and welfare brokers and the Total Rewards Director, perform competitive market analyses, form annual renewal strategies, and manage budget/costs
  • Identify future potential benefit offerings to ensure Phreesia is investing in the right areas to attract and retain diverse top talent and present recommendations, changes, and enhancements to leadership and obtain buy in
  • Ensure that vendors are providing frequent reporting to confirm effectiveness/ROI and foster continuous improvements, such as costs analyses, employee participation and engagement rates, member utilization, claims history, risk analyses and trends, plan sponsor opportunities, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with HRBP’s, employees and people leaders on matters related to leaves of absences, accommodation requests, RTW procedures and WC claims, providing consultation and support as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the Total Rewards Director and Legal team to finalize new and/or review existing vendor contracts at least annually, and to ensure they contain the highest quality performance and service standards (e.g., timeliness of response or resolution, accuracy of information provided to employees, etc.)

  • Managing various 3rd party benefit vendor relationships, performance/service expectations and standards, efficiencies, and costs/ROI
  • Leveraging system and process automation to reduce benefits administration
  • Evaluating, designing, implementing, and administering health and welfare programs for a public company with presence throughout the U.S. and Canada
  • Ensuring company and regulatory benefits-related compliance in the U.S. and Canada
