Benefits Clerk (Remote After Training) ($18.00 / Hour)

Join our team and make a positive impact on others! As a customer service professional at our employer, you will have the opportunity to assist clients and customers with their annual benefits enrollment process. With a focus on providing excellent customer service, you will handle high volume inbound calls, complete data entry, and ensure a smooth enrollment experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, assess, and combine data to provide information on benefits and group insurance programs and utilization
• Explain and interpret more complex aspects of company insurance programs to employees and dependents
• Record employee enrollment in benefits
• Utilize specialty in a more complex aspect of the Benefit Clerk duties, requiring in-depth knowledge of benefit programs, company policies, and administrative procedures
• Identify needs for modification or changes in program design and administrative procedures

Schedule

• Must be willing to train on-site in El Paso, TX for 2 weeks
• Monday - Friday schedule with open availability between 6am - 6pm MST for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to work remotely after training

Requirements

• Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
• 6 months of call center experience highly preferred but not required
• Ability to multitask and communicate with clients via phone while updating/logging information via computer
• Strong customer service mindset
• 6 months to 1 year of recent retail or similar office experience in a customer service department
