Job Description
Provide outstanding relationship management for day-to-day administration of complex voluntary insurance benefit plans on behalf of agents and clients.
Responsibilities
  • Research a broad range of inquiries/issues and determine potential solutions/alternatives; escalate more complex issues to management.
  • Gather data from multiple systems to interpret, troubleshoot and resolve issues; escalate to management as appropriate.
  • Handle routine issues related to general administrative processes for group and policy maintenance.
  • Provide education to agents, employers, internal wholesalers, and regional vice presidents on product administration, systems and portals, under the guidance of more senior staff.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with clients, agents and internal partners to deliver superior customer service and improve client retention.
  • Produce and provide marketing materials for clients and agents; work directly with Marketing team as needed.
  • Review billing discrepancy, new business, and reenrollment reports to resolve routine employee and client level issues.
  • Develop knowledge of voluntary benefits and systems.
  • Follow-up with business groups and service vendors to ensure service levels are met.
Qualifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn software applications
  • Customer service, relationship management or research related experience in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and leverage resources to complete assignments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of voluntary insurance benefits
  • Financial services, insurance or account manager experience
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)

It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. **
Compensation:
The salary for this position generally ranges between $55,000 - 70,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 7.5%
