You will lead a team of Program Managers & Analysts to design, implement and execute Benefit programs that align with Airbnb’s Benefits & Total Rewards philosophy. You will be part of the Global Benefits team reporting to the Director, Global Benefits.

The Difference You Will Make

As Airbnb’s Senior Manager, Americas Benefits, you will be responsible for the management of Airbnb’s health, retirement and time away programs for U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

A Typical Day

• Understanding local market practices, trends and requirements and maintaining local market position in line with Airbnb’s Total Rewards philosophy
• Manage all aspects of benefits at Airbnb for the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina including:
• Collaboration with other members of Total Rewards and cross functional partners including Talent Partners, Operations, Payroll, HR Systems, Internal Communications, Finance, Legal
• Time Away Programs including PTO, sick, holidays, leaves
• Reporting on valuable data insights
• Vendor management to ensure positive customer support, high performance and value from vendor partners
• In partnership with the internal communications team, develop an effective benefits communication strategy to highlight and educate employees on the benefits at Airbnb
• Regulatory compliance including audits, testing, notifications, plan documents, amendments, tax filings, annual legislative updates
• Health, Life, Disability & Retirement Programs
• Operational excellence, scalability and automation
• Program budgets, financial renewals and cost containment

• Experienced Benefits Manager with a proven track record for designing and managing benefit programs and driving results
• Forward thinking, innovative

Ideal Background

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and positive customer service orientation
• Vendor management experience including assessing, selecting, managing and transitioning vendor partners
• Experience managing and mentoring teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 12+ years managing and designing U.S. benefit, leave & time away programs as well as experience with benefit programs in Canada and LatAm, from day to day management to longer term strategy and planning
• Intellectually curious with effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Extensive knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with HR systems, preferably Workday, and excel
• Excellent organizational, project management and analytical skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work with highly confidential information

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care Of You

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Pay Range

$190,000—$235,000 USD
