Job Description
What to Expect
The Associate HR Partner drives our mission by working with leaders across the business to ensure Tesla is a great place to work for all our employees. Tesla’s Associate HR Business Partners are passionate about their work and help deliver positive change every day.
What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for no more than 300 employees within assigned business unit.
  • Partners with business leaders to execute quarterly employee engagement events.
  • Manages in partnership with the business supervisors, the execution of timely discipline and terminations of attendance violations.
  • Drives all LOA claims, in partnership with the LOA/ADA team members, in a timely manner. Partners with the HRM when final decisions, and problem solving is needed.
  • Conducts intake interviews for assigned ER cases within business unit. Including cases which are escalated to the ER team for investigation.
  • Other tasks as assigned by HRM.
  • Assists with coordinating/conducting employee roundtables proactively to identify areas that can be improved – report out to HRM.
  • Facilitates exit interviews within assigned business unit and analyzes the data to make recommendations for improvement to the business.
  • Facilitates internal interviewing process within assigned business unit, in partnership with the business managers, to ensure a structured process is executed for all lead, supervisor, and premium paid positions.
  • Partnering with the onboarding team to ensure new team members in their assigned business unit are prepared for Day 1.
  • Facilitates Respectful Workplace Training during NHO and annual compliance periods.
What You’ll Bring
  • Evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant work experience.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication; must be a clear, concise and persuasive communicator.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a HR related role or HR internship
