Job Summary:

Capillary Technologies has an opening for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its growing team. The HRBP will partner with internal business leaders to implement HR programs and operations supporting employees across the US. The HRBP will have the opportunity to shape the culture, improve the employee experience, and make a significant impact on the organization's success. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about employees, able to help integrate newly acquired companies into HR operations and is ready to take on new challenges as the company expands its business. The position reports to the VP of HR and will support approximately 150 employees.


Responsibilities of the HRBP:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including creating onboarding plans and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Manage basic office management/facilities duties at the downtown Minneapolis office.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives, identify skills gaps, and implement appropriate training programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Coach and develop managers on leadership and HR-related skills.
  • Drives employee culture programs that boost employee engagement and build a “one team” mindset.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including but not limited to recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and employees, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and productive work environment and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations across multiple states.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations across multiple parts of the United States.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their business objectives and identify HR strategies that support them.
  • Be strategic in scaling HR processes and practices to support the projected growth of the company.


Qualifications of the Sr. HRBP:

  • Experience in a small, fast-paced HR team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented
  • A passion for people, HR and an engaging corporate culture
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related technology
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Tech services and or professional services industry experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in an HRBP role
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field;
  • Experience working within a global company and interacting with the global HR team
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business strategies and objectives
  • Thorough knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
