We are looking for a Business Analyst to work remotely in the United States!

Qualitest is looking for a Business Analyst who works under the direction of the Product Owner to identify issues, trends & problems and recommend action plans and evaluate results on initiatives that may not be clearly defined and are large in scope. Work is varied and complex, requiring the individual to use a broad range of knowledge gained through experience. The position works with internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decision and taking action.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers
• Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
• Ability to recognize and apply business analysis and system analysis best practices to fit a variety of situations.
• Analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, planning, and technical skills
• Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management
• Ability to use software and peripherals related to the performance of job responsibilities
• Ability to anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mindset
• Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and follow through
• Ability to facilitate teams and client relationships to satisfy needs and identify improvements
• Knowledge of Agile knowledge management tools such as JIRA and Confluence preferred
• Ability to be flexible and creative in problem-solving and identifying process improvements
• Solid experience in analysis and design of software development initiatives in an analyst role (preferably within a Scrum Agile team).
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives including continuous evaluation and re-ordering of priorities for self and staff as business needs dictate
• Knowledge of the Healthcare industry and understanding of all major workflows associated with healthcare claim processing
• International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certifications, AAC, CBAP, or CCBA preferred
• Experience in Agile methodologies and requirements gathering and management practices such as BDD
• Knowledge of modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidcharts, Draw.io preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must Haves

• Experience (6+ yrs.) in Agile methodologies and requirements gathering and development practices such as Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

(Writing user stories in BDD format)

• Domain Knowledge of the Healthcare industry and healthcare claim processing
• Strong Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence

• A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $90,000 - $110,000
