Business Intelligence Analyst Jobs

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our business intelligence systems. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, designing and configuring BI dashboards and reports, and providing valuable insights to support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using industry-standard tools.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for BI solutions.
• Interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the BI system.
• Maintain documentation of data models, business rules, and system configurations.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
• Provide training and support to end users on the effective use of BI tools and reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and cleansing activities.

Requirements:

• Certifications in business intelligence or data analytics are desirable.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and design principles.
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and data warehousing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Prior experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance is a plus.
• Proficiency in PHP and Java for developing and maintaining BI solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
