Position Summary

The individual selected for the Enterprise Analytics Analyst lll job will be responsible for collaborating with business partners to find insights and drive change to the mortgage origination process. This individual will provide guidance and oversight to less senior team members and help find and visualize analytical insights and ensure that we are consistently providing best in class service to our management team and customers.

Responsibilities: Under limited or minimal supervision,

• Collaborate with upper management, internal departments and/or analysts to ensure overall company goals are consistently met.
• Support the mortgage origination process by providing thoughtful, insightful, accurate and timely analytics.
• Demonstrate flexibility to ever-changing business needs and requirements.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting or research as directed by management.
• Ability to present cohesively and confidently to Senior Management regarding project statuses, issues and concerns, recommendations.
• Help drive the creation, design, and implementation of new business strategies that streamline current practices and provide additional understanding through data analysis.
• Research operational, reporting, or data issues and present solutions or process improvements to management.
• Prepare reports with strict adherence to reporting requirements and can partner with other Departments on joint initiatives.
• Be able to clearly articulate and present ideas and findings to a varied audience including the staff and senior management.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure overall investor satisfaction as well as manage score card performance where applicable.
• Demonstrate effective communication and listening skills, focused on conveying new ideas to performance managers and understanding potential obstacles to implementation.
• Provide direction, leadership, training, motivation, coaching and assessment to ensure optimum performance in support of company and department goals as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 – 5 years of Mortgage Originations experience strongly preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Prior work experience performing business, data, and/or statistical analysis is a plus
• Some knowledge working with snowflake is preferred
• Experience visualizing data in any of the following: Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, SSRS, or Excel.
• Solid math aptitude, with the ability to recognize mathematical causal relationships, and apply an analytical approach to research.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and respond well to pressure and competing deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in order to interact with Senior Management and other business units.
• Adaptive person – able to assimilate new ideas and thrive in a demanding environment.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server
• Experience working with any cloud platform - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
