Title: Business Operations Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates service/product deliveries, to include: PO travelers, daily delivery activities, domestic and export/import documentation, service and product invoicing, warranty status, etc.
• Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
• Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning.
• Provide administrative and operational support to line management in a variety of functional areas, which may include finance, proposals, pricing, contracting, human resources, etc.
• Coordinates with sale representatives to perform the tasks identified.
• Reconciles purchase orders with quotes, including payment terms, delivery schedule, etc. Works with customers' as a sales point-of-contact from receipt of PO through delivery of products and services.
• Leads the planning and implementation of large programs in the function, and regularly interfaces with senior management and executive leadership.
• Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.
• Must demonstrated ability to specify cost and financing issues based on reviews of engineering concepts and requirements and designs, and in integrating the multiple economic and financial analysis tasks and activities involved in engineering projects.
• Generates quotations on standard products and custom work as required; coordinates quotation follow-up activities with customers and product managers.

Skills:

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Ability to analyse business trends and project future revenues and expenses.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
• 2-4 years experience
