Business Operations Analyst Jobs

Operations Analyst needed for a growing company in the North Houston Greenspoint area. This role reports to the Operations Financial Manager. Working on site with a great group in an energetic environment and great benefits!

The right candidate has been responsible previously in driving analytical strategies and has worked with leadership to drive action plans that will improve efficiency and increase effectiveness through analytics and financial modeling.

Duties

• Assists with strategic analysis of portfolio, including capital allocation by region by business, and performance issues common across all markets.

• Assists with analysis of specific businesses regarding market share, operating and financial performance, and employee issues.

• Assists operations leadership with data and analysis, communicate action plans.

• Assists with implementation of specific metrics to measure location leadership and personnel as well as measure effectiveness of our training programs.

• Visit locations to observe operations and define market share and operational issues.

• Assists with content and organization of quarterly operational review meetings with regional partners.

• Assist with the organization, designing and development of subject matter for operations meetings

• Assist Executives and ops with integration of acquired businesses

• Financial and project management.

Required

• Bachelors in business, finance, or related field required or equivalent experience.

• 3 to 5 years of related experience required.

• Advanced use of Excel formulas including Pivot Tables and Power Query/BI.

• Demonstrable experience with financial analysis and modeling required.

• A solid understanding of finance and GAAP required.

• Expert-level in Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint skills

• Multitasker

• Capable of working independently, but also a good team player.

• Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization

ON SITE and paying up to $75k + discretionary bonus for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience.
