This job is on the Customer Performance and Sales Analytics team within the Commercial Planning & Analysis organization. Our team is focused on delivering actionable insights in a fast-paced environment that support account management and partner relationships around the globe to drive Sales results. We believe that data should be exciting, and when brought to life through engaging reporting, large volumes of data become easy to understand. Our scope of responsibility includes channel profile data management, performance reporting, incentive reporting, and contract optimization.
The role will collaborate with many different Sales teams globally to implement, evaluate, and improve reporting and contracting solutions. A critical component of that collaboration involves the management and ongoing support of database integrity. The ideal candidate is also expected to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to various business units in an easy-to-understand format.
What You'll Do

• Maintains reliability of solutions by developing and implementing standards and/or processes for database maintenance, documentation, and configuration
• Translate business problems and requirements into new Anaplan multi-dimensional models
• Build Anaplan models, with a focus on continuous improvement, incorporating new functionality and fixing issues in production to support business users
• Performs ad-hoc analysis and other program administration as required
• Develops creative proof-of-concept solutions that can be easily articulated to the IT organization for production
• Utilize SQL and Databricks to create tables, stored procedures, and process data to be utilized by Sales applications and reports
• Communicates directly with business units to understand their business problems
• Develop Python Scripts for data migration
• Utilizes various programming languages to provide analyst tools to perform statistical research and analysis
• Creates and maintains documentation related to the company’s software solution and database environment
• Develops forecasting models and new predictive analytics to enable strategy teams to identify trends
• Refresh and maintain legacy reports currently developed in Excel

All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree; or equivalent experience/training
• 3 years in similar role

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• 5 years development experience in an airline function
• MIS or MBA/MS with focus on business technology
• Anaplan L1 or L2 model builder certification

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Microsoft Certification or Microsoft Programming Certificate
• Technical skills including Azure, R, Microsoft SQL, Python, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, Databricks
• Ability to communicate directly with users
