Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Acquia is looking for a dedicated Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to drive forward the implementation of our Business Intelligence platform. This individual will be responsible for the development and successful follow through of our Business Intelligence roadmap initiatives as well as the day-to-day system administration surrounding the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in the various systems Acquia uses internally — particularly focused around the data structure and corresponding processes that impact the data
- Be proactive in determining the Business Intelligence needs and wants of Acquia
- Combine and transform data from multiple sources using a mix of SQL and Domo’s in-platform ETL tools
- Help define the long term strategy for the Business Intelligence Team at Acquia
- Act as the product owner for our Business Intelligence tools and projects
- Champion data initiatives by refining processes and data structures to ensure scalable reporting solutions
- Build individual and department level dashboards pertaining to key business initiatives outlined by senior management
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify key business requirements and develop automated reporting from data extraction to visualization
- Establish best practices, audit data for accuracy and oversee permissions and security within Acquia’s chosen Business Intelligence Platform Domo
Desired Skills:
- Experience developing requirements from stakeholders and translating into actionable plan
- Extreme attention to detail and passion for data
- Experience working with ETL software and/or relational databases
- Ability to mentor and train less experienced team members
- Experience using a business intelligence platform such as Domo (preferred)
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) a plus
- Experience with Salesforce as a data source
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- 1–2 years SQL/MySQL experience
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar.
- 3–5 years experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst
- Excel and data analysis skills, (PivotTables, SumIfs, Vlookups etc)
