VP Sales and Business Development – Media / Hi-Tech
Scope:
To grow an early-stage Practice by providing transformational solutions and services, across operations and technology, spanning the customer lifecycles of the Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) industries. Leveraging Cloud-based solutions such as Software as a Service (SaaS), the automation of current technologies, and partnered with operational excellence as well as customer-focused support, the VP of Sales will show new and existing clients how company can
build a powerful digital-first, transformed operating model that redefines performance to drive radically better outcomes.
As a senior member of the Sales and Account Management team, the VP of Sales & Business Development is responsible for identifying, assessing, and negotiating new business opportunities that are in line with the Company’s overall strategic growth objectives.This position is expected to contribute to the strength, capabilities, and reputation of company in the global marketplace while expanding the customer base, revenue, and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Develop a winning and scalable sales strategy that generates revenue and achieves assigned goals
Directly source deals using their own contacts and manage the sales lifecycle through close
Develop and execute business plans to include prospecting, responding to inbound leads, shaping deals, solutioning, pricing, negotiating, finalizing sales contracts, closing deals, and managing customer relations
Effectively construct and tell a compelling and clear story around the value proposition both orally and in presentations
Work closely with the Account Management and Delivery organization to foster a client-centric culture and cohesive team environment
Deliver the required business outcomes to our customers while protecting the interests of the executive’s team and stakeholders
Be a key member of the senior management team and contribute to
shaping the company’s overall strategy
50% - 60% travel required
Key Performance Indicators:
Number of deals signed
Total contract value signed
Quality of clients onboarded
Experience, Education, and Training:
10+ years of experience in a sales role within at least one Media, Tech Sales, Consulting, Business Management, or Operations industry with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering against aggressive targets
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or Marketing
Must have experience in at least one Media, Tech Sales, Consulting, Business Management, or Operations industry.
Experience in managing and driving significant revenue growth in a vertical with a global delivery model
