Our retail client is seeking a VP of Marketing! This role is full-time and fully remote.
The ideal candidate for this role has DTC Product experience!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Collaborate with the creative content team and develop strategies to maintain a seamless brand voice and messaging
- Continuously evaluate emerging media strategies to identify growth opportunities and rebalance channel allocation
- Optimize media budget based on profitability, driving efficiency in new customer acquisition and customer development
- Oversee channels including paid & organic social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat), Paid search (Google Adwords), Email / SMS and Influencer (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), and affiliate networks (Pepperjam) + SEO
- Lead a team of 4 direct reports and external partners to execute marketing plans
- Maintain up to date knowledge of media trends, competitive landscape, and customer acquisition KPIs
- Develop and manage A/B testing optimization strategies across all channels, from ad assets to targeting and media tactics
- Develop and implement comprehensive customer acquisition and retention strategies across audiences and channels, focused on performance-based growth marketing
- Director or higher position in digital marketing for eCommerce DTC brands with at least $40M-250M+ in revenue
- Experience setting budgets based on paid media channel performance and forecasted goals.
- Ability to understand platform attribution well and be able to
- Experience managing E-Commerce Marketing budget entirely, not just contributing or managing one portion
- 12+ years' experience
- Experience forecasting marketing annual or quarterly total marketing growth goals and budgets, or at least for the entire E-Commerce Marketing
- Understands an integrated marketing approach and can allocate attention to various channels to ensure optimization for current trends in e-commerce, changes in business, and
- Experience managing a multi-channel budget of over $3M annually
- Broad experience in acquisition and retention, with experience using both paid and organic strategies to
- Experience managing paid social strategies directly
- Ability to manage Facebook and TikTok ads yourself is a plus!
- Software: Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Shopify, etc.
