Job Description

:

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in IT resource management.
  • Resource Planning and Allocation: Collaborate with project managers and department heads to identify IT resource requirements, assess project needs, and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Implement process enhancements and leverage emerging technologies to drive efficiency, productivity, and innovation within the IT resource management function. (10%)
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with project stakeholders, including executives, clients, and external vendors, to understand project requirements and align IT resources accordingly
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process of IT professionals, including full-time employees and contractors.
  • Foster effective communication channels and build strong relationships to ensure seamless coordination and successful project delivery. (10%)
  • Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance the skill sets of the IT workforce. (20%)
  • Develop strategies to attract top IT talent, while fostering a positive work culture and promoting employee engagement and retention. (30%)
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources, considering expertise, availability, and project timelines. (30%)
  • Performance Monitoring and Coaching: Establish performance metrics, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to individuals and teams.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of IT project lifecycles, resource planning methodologies, and workforce management techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve targets.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in project management software and IT resource management tools.

Experience required:

  • 3+ years of managing resources/projects or supervising staff.
  • Proven experience in IT resource management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.

Education:

Bachelors/Master’s Degree and/or IT certifications Preferred.
