What You'll Do As a Supply Chain Specialist
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you'll play a key role in maximizing profitability and efficiency in our distribution processes. You'll collaborate with stores, nonprofit partners, and vendors to ensure the seamless and timely flow of goods. Here are some of your responsibilities:
Analyze and recommend product types that maximize store operating profit through supply.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stores, team members, nonprofit partners, vendors, and external customers.
Provide comprehensive training for nonprofit partners and internal team members.
Establish and review policies and procedures to minimize costs, maximize product margin, and ensure legal compliance.
Prepare business plans for nonprofit collection programs, including clothing and household operations.
Coordinate product distribution and schedules to maximize efficiencies and control costs.
Conduct audits to ensure accurate paperwork, partner payments, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Track partner performance and resolve delivery discrepancies to ensure proper payments and cost management.

What You Bring
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Exceptional organizational and attention to detail.

Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to establish relationships and maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
Experience in similar roles with data analysis is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 30-50% of the time in various geographical areas.
Flexibility to work early mornings or evenings if required.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Ability to bend, raise hands above head, and navigate delivery trucks.
