The Opportunity
As a Junior Architect at our firm, you'll be at the heart of project execution, from conceptual design to construction. Working closely with our experienced senior staff, you'll receive invaluable mentorship as you refine your skills and expand your knowledge.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you should bring:
Previous professional experience in an architecture office.
Proficiency in producing construction documents and detail drawings for tenant fit-out projects, including retail, office, and hospitality spaces, using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Strong skills in 3D modeling and rendering.
Familiarity with permit sets and commercial construction workflows (a major plus).
An eye for design and a drive to be the best in the industry.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent Interior Design field.
2+ years of experience in an architecture or design firm.
Strong drafting skills in Revit and/or AutoCAD (Revit experience is highly desirable).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with 3D Studio Max & Vray, Rhino & Vray, or similar software (a plus).
Excellent communication and presentation rendering skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment with tight deadlines.
Work Arrangement
Due to the evolving circumstances related to Covid-19, this position currently offers a hybrid work arrangement. You'll have the flexibility to meet project goals from home using your personal or remote PC hardware. Ideally, candidates located in or near New York City, who can work in-person at our Manhattan office three to four days a week, will be considered. The role may transition to full-time in-office work in the future.
