Sr Mgr, Area Sales Manager, Central Region

Primary Location United States-Home based position

Role Summary:
  • Raise dealers’ sales performance levels and reduce variability between dealers.
  • Grow Market Share within the Area by driving new and CPO retail sales.
    • Establish a sound strategy to increase dealer and Brand loyalty throughout the Area.

  • Drive dealers to achieve markets sales objectives by following Commercial guidelines and to find opportunities in term of dealers, customers, market development.

  • Manage the dealer network in the Region – ensure that sales performance is achieved thru a thorough work with Dealer Principals, GM’s and sales force at dealer level. Interact with NA HQ as well as Factory personnel. Role of Regional Leader for Retail Marketing Manager and After Sales Manager (functional reporting, target sharing)
  • Establish a sound strategy to increase dealer and Brand loyalty throughout the Area.
  • Role requires a thorough yet broad understanding of the retail environment complexity and the impact of decisions take in order to achieve the desired objectives. Ability to interact with all the levels at the dealership level, starting with Dealer Principals, understanding the relationships occurring with luxury customers.
Role Responsibilities:

40% Drives dealers to achieve markets objectives by:

  • Monitoring dealers compliance with vehicles allocation process
  • Evaluating level of stock at dealers and pipeline orders in order to avoid breakdowns in supply vs. demand, resolving supply/demand issues with vehicle distribution in assigned markets
  • Monitoring used car business, promoting CPO program
  • Monitoring and analyzing dealer and area inventory and manage vehicle aging and inventory mix
  • Ensuring lease program and lease-end process is in place and well-executed

15% Evaluates and develops dealer network by:

  • Visiting and selecting, together with Area Manager After Sales, potential new dealers
  • Evaluating dealers potential in accordance with local market performance

15% Compliance:

  • Ensure execution plan according to DOS *(Dealer Operating Standard)
  • Ensuring implementation of major technical solutions and process improvements (e.g., action items resulting from Dealer visit)
  • Dealer Training organization
  • Ensuring understanding and implementation of sales and marketing policies
  • Identifying sales problems and developing action plans at dealer level
  • Interacting with Dealer Principal/General Manager and Sales Managers at dealers in order to advise on how to improve performances;

15% Marketing co-ordination:

  • Coordinates local events with dealers, vendors, and partners to ensure flawless execution
  • Assists dealers with the overall effectiveness of CRM processes (i.e. lead generation and customer retention) in alignment with company guidelines
  • Confirms dealer bonus eligibility by verifying measurement criteria (i.e. CI/CD compliance, payment procedure, etc.) and assesses eligibility for variable margins based on the achievement of qualitative and quantitative parameters.

5% Special vehicles (one, few offs) promotion, relationship with VIP clients

5% After Sales Co-ordination:

  • Monitors and assist dealers personnel in meeting training requirements
  • Works closely with After Sales Area Manager to solve customer complaints guaranteeing full customer satisfaction
  • Develops SSI strategy and execute to achieve objectives
  • Maximize accessories wholesale and retail

5% Motorsports:

Support and expand the racing activities at dealer level with the Squadra Corse Program


Qualifications:

Compensation:

Salary range is dependent on factors such as geographical differentials, industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications.

In the state of California, the salary range is $124,600 - $190,300.

In the state of Colorado, the salary range is $113,300 - $173,000.

In the state of Washington, the salary range is $124,600 - $190,300.

In New York City, the salary range is $136,000 - $207,600.

In Westchester County, the salary range is $136,000 - $207,600.

In the state of Rhode Island, the salary range is $113,300 - $173,000.
