As a Customer Data Platform (CDP) Project Manager/Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading and executing CDP projects from initiation to completion. Your role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring that CDP projects align with business goals and deliver valuable customer insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements gathering and analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their data-related needs and define clear and concise requirements for the CDP. Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where the CDP can address business challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business intelligence teams to leverage insights from the CDP for data-driven decision-making.
- Testing and quality assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of the CDP. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and adherence to quality standards. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Coordinate with technical teams to oversee the integration of data sources into the CDP and ensure data accuracy.
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of CDP projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders from IT, marketing, sales, and customer support to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish objectives.
- Continuous improvement and optimization: Monitor the performance of the CDP, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and data accuracy. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in customer data management and analytics.
Minimum Requirements:
- Tools understanding: JIRA, Slack, Sharepoint, OneDrive, PPT, Excel, Virtual whiteboarding tools, Smartsheet, etc.
- Bachelor's degree; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering CDP projects or similar initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on customer data platforms or data-related projects.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for data management.
- Strong understanding of data management, data integration, and CRM systems.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $117,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
