What makes this role important at Ipsos?


This leader will evaluate and analyze the current state of B2B and B2B2C business, develop and implement growth strategy for the organization. This position will lead corporate go-to-market solutions, sampling access options and product development in North America while supporting sales and delivery with B2B expertise globally.


What You Can Expect To Be Doing


  • Local & global - Lead our efforts in North America while orchestrating sharing of capabilities and best practices across markets / with other Ipsos regional B2B hub leaders
  • Growth strategy - Drive incremental sales growth in North America by refining and implementing our B2B strategy – bringing to bear marketplace understanding with research aptitude. Profitable growth will be a key success metric
  • Partnerships/acquisitions - Lead or support related B2B partnerships or M&A activities with North American and global partners, as appropriate
  • Team leadership – Influence / indirectly oversee B2B-related work across the organization and directly manage B2B product development and analytics resources
  • Access to high-quality experts - Partner with colleagues to ensure ample and sustainable access to high-quality experts to participate in market research. This includes collaborating with colleagues who are scaling Ipsos owned capabilities and maintaining external partnerships for access to respondents
  • Building capabilities – This is a new role within Ipsos to tap an under-penetrated part of the research market focused on professional insights. You’ll have the opportunity to build capabilities and grow our B2B portfolio working across 10+ business lines. You’ll leverage resources within those business lines and partner with sales, marketing, etc. while also building a small team of resources dedicated to B2B
  • Data-informed decisions and strategy refinement - Implement internal system enhancements for stronger business intelligence. Monitor and manage portfolio KPIs to refine the strategy and execution for high growth
  • Marketing & sales enablement – Guide new commercial efforts to propel B2B sales with marketing activities and sales team enablement. Supports client proposals and selling activities to identify and replicate winning approaches
  • Voice of B2B client needs – Understand market demand, client needs specific to B2B and client choice drivers for partners in B2B research. Represent the voice of B2B clients among internal stakeholders
  • Products/solutions – Beyond building on our current successes with B2B research, you’ll develop new and evolve existing productized offers and a new syndicated model for incremental revenue opportunities. Create commercially-viable subscription-based solutions for senior stakeholders within client accounts

  • Strong practical experience managing research projects and using a full range of research methods – quantitative, qualitative, behavioral, etc.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, empathy and are a self-starter
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving and people leadership skills
  • The ability to manage a wide variety of people and personalities operating in a fast-paced environment. Grace and diplomacy balanced with a competitive edge is ideal
  • Advanced understanding of various research tools and platforms
  • Broad industry exposure – i.e., technology, media, telecom, financial services, etc.
  • Proven track record of leading and executing strategic research with B2B audiences
  • The ability to build relationships, influence and foster a collaborative culture within a diverse group
  • 15+ years of relevant market research experience or equivalent related experience
  • Creative, strategic, growth mindset
  • Demonstrated critical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize and distill complex information and clearly communicate with both internal and external partners
