Job Summary/Purposes:
The Retail Training Manager will be responsible for the overview of the design, implementation, and delivery of the Store Training Programs to our Store staff, with a focus on the improvement of client experience and business results. The focus of this role will prioritize the needs to develop the individual, the team, and the organizational performance in order to achieve the Company’s goals – including but not limited to business and strategic results as requested by the local market and HQ Store Training Department.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate training KPIs and business performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
- Manages the relationship with HQ Store Training to collect, evaluate and prepare a shared calendar of the learning programs for Stores based on global and local projects.
- Following proper observation and feedback on the floor, conduct On-the Spot training sessions to the store teams.
- Creation, customization, and implementation of Store Training programs (in-person training, webinars, gaming platforms, digital apps, e-learning, LMS platform, etc) in order to support the achievement of the business goals.
- The above activities are listed as examples and not exhaustive.
- Deliver training including support for onboarding Store staff.
- Manage the training team of the Region/Country with an accurate project management approach, sharing calendars, timing, programs, evaluation, etc
- Effectively manages the training budget.
- Works with local stakeholders (GM, ROP, CRM, and HR) to review business needs and goals.
- Manages the LMS locally for store training needs; and works effectively with platform and dashboards.
- Creates, designs, and executes training strategies and programs both in-house and with expert third parties.
- Collaborates with internal Department to guarantee consistency in covering needs and relative training projects.
- Work with local HR and L&D team to review needs for specific developmental initiatives to support internal growth, and career paths according to the Performance Management results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience as a Store/Retail Trainer with a special focus on delivering Client Journey and Clienteling training
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite, Success Factors modules, LMS digital platforms for learning and digital training solutions
- Advanced analytical, instructional, interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Digital Mindset
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Luxury Retail experience is preferred
- Highly developed interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Experience planning and managing both small and large-scale training events
- Proficient knowledge of English language; other language is a plus
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Experience in client-facing role in a retail setting
The annual salary range for this position may vary from $120,000-$140,000, and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
