We co-create cloud-based solutions and the necessary hardware components to gather data from industrial equipment, which our customers then use to streamline their industrial fleet management. In a nutshell, we make technology that helps companies look after their industrial machinery and business better — we enable them to work safer and more efficiently, and save time and money.

Right now we're seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage a sales territory through developing and fostering effective sales relationships and opportunities in concert with overall company sales and marketing objectives. You will manage the quality and consistency of our product and service delivery while working in close collaboration with our inside sales team to reach our department and organizational goals.


Based in the North-Eastern Region, you will:


  • Manage assigned sales territory to achieve sales objectives including developing building and fostering effective customer relationships and sales opportunities
  • Gather competitive literature and promotional material with customer consent
  • Train customer staff on use of GemOne website and other sales tools features and functions
  • Work closely with inside and outside sales teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for up-selling/cross selling to existing accounts
  • Gather and use competitive market information to create sales opportunities and customer relationships
  • Identify and resolve basic and moderately complex customer questions and issues
  • Contact existing and prospective customers in person and via phone on a regular and consistent basis to develop and build strong relationships with key personnel within target customer base and present all appropriate GemOne products and services
  • Effectively utilize sales planning tools and the pipeline management process to obtain business objectives and goals
  • Develop low value customers and new or inactive customer accounts
  • Develop and manage goals and objectives, task prioritization, and effective use of available resources
  • Partner with Marketing to create brand awareness and promote research tools and services to support the U.S. value proposition
  • Leverage established GemOne product, sales and customer relations processes, concepts, and systems to provide effective and timely customer service
  • Navigate and use sales planning tools and other company databases and programs to locate and source parts and customer information


Requirements


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Demonstrates a proven track record in customer relationship development and maintenance and meeting inside sales objectives and goals through effective customer relationship development
  • Demonstrates proficient understanding of telematics and industrial equipment industry, customers, suppliers and vendors
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Demonstrates effective presentation skills including effective proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Demonstrates proficient understanding and demonstrating sales techniques including cold calling, customer qualification and customer acquisition
  • Must possess a minimum of ten years’ work experience in a Sales role or other applicable customer service/inside sales role
  • Demonstrated proficiency using a company systems and company sales planning tools
  • Must demonstrates a proven track record in providing exemplary customer service and consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and conversing with customers
