POSITION TITLE: Assistant Retail Coordinator

POSITION PURPOSE:
To assist the Retail Coordinator as a liaison between GUESS? and the account to facilitate store sales growth and profitability while upholding the GUESS? image as a leader in the fashion industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Communicate to facilitate teamwork and partnership: Meet with Area Manager on a weekly basis (by conference call or by individual phone calls) to discuss specific issues pertaining to the account Communicate with business partners on a weekly basis ( through reports, phone calls, and in-person) to review the business analysis and store issues Telephone the business partners to notify them of outstanding issues that need immediate attention when needed Communicate all GUESS? product information, business analysis, floor location, presentation and staffing issues with proper account and GUESS? personnel
Establish and maintain store merchandising and visual standards: Develop a relationship with the account visual director to ensure that GUESS? is given priority in all visual rollouts Assist the visual manager with all rollouts and implementation of GUESS? images Utilize merchandising and visual directives to create uniformity in all GUESS? departments Ensure that all stores have the same basic flow of merchandise Ensure that all departments have standardized style cards, images and vendor identification. Success will be determined by submitting reports and pictures Enforce markdown presentation standards by pulling merchandise together and displaying appropriate markdown or price point sinage
Drive sales through business analysis: Implement business opportunities by: Reworking the sales floor to focus on the presentation that suits the store Updating account basics and revising models Ensuring that fashion on order is in line with branch trends Reacting quickly to best sellers with account executive in order to maximize sales Demanding the best location for GUESS? Obtaining visual islands and windows to promote GUESS? throughout the entire store

Base salary will be determined on various factors, including but not limited to, market data, internal equity, relevant background, and experience for the specified role. GUESS?
