East Coast Regional Sales Manager:

This rockstar is responsible for overseeing brand sales, staff training and store relationships within assigned regions. This person is highly strategic, ambitious & commercially savvy. They will work with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on a variety of topics including promotional activity, events & education materials based on competitive insights. The Director is expected to work hands on with Account Executives and store staff, coaching and developing to optimize Byredo’s image and sales performance.


People:

  • Partner with Education and Marketing to organize training for new staff and support Account Executives with implementation
  • Provide feedback on quality and quantity of BA & RSS in store
  • Recruit, develop, performance manage and provide support to Account Executive team through coaching, training/education and leading by example
  • Provide feedback in-store during each visit to ensure staff is in line with brand standards
  • Working side by side with AEs, train, coach & develop direct reports for leadership development, optimized store visits, and building & maintaining retailer partnerships
  • Collaborate with Sell-in Team and Marketing to develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives, and strategies to support regional demographics
  • Build & maintain regional retail relationships (with district/area mgrs.)
  • Co create clearly defined career maps & succession plans with direct reports
  • Visit call cycle doors monthly and discuss observations with AEs
  • Support cross-teams with managing new store openings (Marketing, VM, Construction PM, etc)


Operations:

  • Analyze & enhance promotional strategies including make-up acceleration, visual weeks, artistry and promotional events
  • Conduct weekly team meetings to review sell through success & opportunities by retailer of newness, core & promotional activity.
  • Reinforce adherence to merchandising standards and brands identity.
  • Review freelancer productivity, store rankings & key sku performance to maintain elevated performance in freelance doors vs non supported freelance doors.
  • Analyze daily, weekly and monthly sale reports
  • Provide visual week and holiday recaps
  • Develop regional strategy and sales execution plans; support sales execution with Account Executives
  • Synthesize field team needs across region & proactively communicate to leadership
  • Conduct trend analysis, market research and brand ranks (share with corp. brand & regional teams)
  • Consult Wholesale Director on allocation strategy of AE budgets by door within region, as well as freelance and T&E budgets to AEs within region
  • Provide insight on customer shopping behaviors and suggest innovative ideas to improve the brands relationship with consumers through opportunities in product, merchandising, marketing, promotions, and digital platforms
  • Measure r.o.i of all financial investments
  • Foster account /door strategy conversations, including opportunities to shift or increase investment to drive business performance.
  • Maintenance of the Sell through field address list and store list to keep current


You Have:

  • Minimum 10 yrs in key account sell-out management in luxury market
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Computer literate and proficient using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel at least 80% of the time
  • 3+yrs forecasting, executing, and reporting
  • Proven ability to negotiate and analytical
  • Excellent sales skills proven by sales initiatives and results
  • 5+yrs in leadership role (coaching, developing and inspiring others)
