The Sr. Product Manager, Atellica Solutions is a key marketing role in the North America (NAM) region that owns the regional product roadmap for assigned portfolios and supports various Marketing Managers in defining product value and delivering on strategic imperatives. The Sr. Product Manager will have direct responsibility for assigned Atellica product line(s) – Atellica CI1900 - , while collaborating with other team members to demonstrate the value of the complete SHS Atellica portfolio to all customer key stakeholders and decision makers.


This Product Manager will partner with Global and NAM LD Marketing, NAM Strategic Corporate Accounts, Sales, Scientific & Clinical Affairs and other cross-functional leads. This role requires an understanding of market and customer segmentation, expertise in commercial execution, and ability to assess gaps and/or pain points to propose product and/or portfolio changes and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities


  • Understand the competitive landscape across the Core Lainstrument landscape and identifying key differentiators of the SHS portfolio
  • Brief and train the sales and technical teams at routine meetings, along with performing product demonstrations to customers
  • Deliver a monthly revenue and demand forecast, along with managing product allocation strategies and decisions
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional Marketing on instrument portfolio development and rationalization, product health, and product life cycle management strategies
  • Responsible for achieving goals, timelines and overcome any tactical issues that arise that are within the scope of marketing
  • Support the development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans across the Core Lab Instrument Portfolio and coordinate the U.S. launch of new legacy instrument product updates and upgrades including pricing, positioning, targeting, promotion, sales education & customer rollout
  • Work closely with all core laboratory marketing teams to ensure portfolio synergies and alignment on go to market strategies
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap within the assigned product line(s), including product launches, product revisions and end-of-life timelines and efforts
  • Understands Voice of Sales (VOS) and supports sales and operations planning (S&OP) and align all functions of the organization to ensure customer service levels and reduced lead times


Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience


  • Results oriented; ability to design scalable solutions to address business questions and/or challenges; self-motivated and organized to successfully complete high-quality work projects on time; attentive to detail
  • Minimum BA/BS degree with emphasis in marketing and/or commercial execution excellence; MBA or MS preferred
  • Process oriented to seek details and data to quantify impact of continuous improvement for customer operational performance
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven track record of creativity in problem solving and customer needs resolution
  • Experience in leading multi-cultural teams and building relationships
  • Ability to lead and effectively collaborate across multiple marketing and sales organizations
  • Ability to travel (25%)
  • Strong customer-facing skills from needs identification to delivering executive business case presentation.
  • 5+ years of relevant multifunctional commercial experience of relevant product management/marketing/sales experience in a laboratory setting; experience in Clinical Chemistry and/or Immunology preferred
  • Ability to work across business lines and partner with various stakeholders to build consensus and achieve business results
  • Experience in a matrix organization and the ability to influence beyond lines of direct control


The pay range for this position is $120,000 to $168,000.00 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is (10%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
