DVP, District Manager - Northeast (NY, CT, NH, & MA)
Must be based in either New York City Metro, CT or Long Island
The DVP District Manager is responsible for driving sales, profit, and all relevant metrics in her/ his district through motivating communication, clear standards, actionable plans, and regular follow up. The District Manager will demonstrate a consistent and tactical focus on growing results through strong execution while leveraging deep knowledge of the local demographic for external and internal customers.
The District Manager must ensure a high level of execution, operational compliance, people development, and build a culture that promotes our core values.
Primary Job Functions
- Manage the planning, timelines, budget, and communication of operational priorities.
- Train and support store teams on operational practices in partnership with the Manager, Store Training and Development.
- Responsible for executing key store initiatives including the Playbook.
- Leverage store communication and task compliance to drive accountability within the district.
- Clearly communicates objectives and priorities to the team to influence results.
- Lead, coach, and exemplify service behaviors through our Connected Service program to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience in all locations.
- Responsible for achievement of sales plan, KPIs and other objectives including Sales, Controllable Expense Commitments, and 4-wall EBITDA Targets through successful execution of the Playbook in all store locations.
- Responsible for IT technology operational and to standard and escalation of tech related issues
- Collaborate proactively and efficiently with internal business partners, sharing status updates, offering plans for any needed course correction, and achieving goals for deadlines, budget, and metric results.
- Visit locations to audit efficiency and success of best practices including but not limited to: Merchandising, Stockroom standards, communication of changes to process and back of house efficiency.
- Responsible for the development and mentoring of Store Leadership in the district.
- Manage implementation, training and maintenance of all operational initiatives (examples include Connected Service, Door to Floor processing, Ship from Store, and annual inventory).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (4-year) degree preferred.
- Ability to develop, plan and execute strategies to maximize opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Goal oriented focus, with demonstrated ability to identify, develop, manage and motivate a leadership team while driving company initiatives.
- 10+ years of leadership experience with comparable volume or a proven track record of success managing a selling workforce and achieving results.
- Proficiency in utilizing available technology including Google Suite
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules. Travel throughout the district required.
