POSITION: Senior Program Manager, Marketing & Operations
REPORTS TO: Director, Program Management
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for standing up and managing end-to-end execution of marketing programs, from strategic planning phases through creative execution and implementation. Programs may include deliverables across all Social Media channels (i.e. Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok etc). Manages program schedules across initiatives and pro-actively communicates expectations and milestones to all team members. Manages one or more direct reports and assigns their projects and tasks.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Activates and manages end-to-end, omni-channel marketing programs across multiple
campaigns with online and offline deliverables
Creates and publishes comprehensive schedules and sets interim milestone meetings,
integrating traditional and digital media touch-points in the process. Manages a program
holistically and triangulates dependencies of milestones of individual campaigns within.
Proactively monitors progress to achieve deadlines and results
Fosters partnerships with Marketing, Creative, Content Production, Post Production,
Resourcing, and Delivery Management. Clearly and actively communicates requirements,
deliverables, timelines and budget status throughout program lifecycle
Closely partners upstream during strategic development with Marketing counterparts to
ensure cross-functional alignment milestones and timelines for brief development and project
kickoffs are met
Manages laterally with creative on timely execution of core assets and with delivery
management on execution of derivatives, versions, and translations
Ensures timely execution of all project assets to meet launch dates, and sees through
analytics and hind-sighting post campaign launch
Manages day-to-day tasks of program planning and execution:
o Communicates strategic milestones and brief due dates to marketing partners;
ensures information is available and complete
o Populates agendas for planning, kick-off, and review meetings
o Opens jobs and builds job folders with project info; updates as jobs evolve and
maintains final program archive of job info
o Tracks schedules, updates reports and communicates program status to key
stakeholders through weekly status meetings
o Identifies photo shoot needs across channels and partners with Creative and Content
Production for photo shoot execution and retouching milestones
o Ensures product delivery for photography is tracking to program schedule
o Routes creative to marketing partners and ensures feedback is clear, actionable and
received on time.
o Facilitates passing off core assets to delivery management/production for versioning
o Ensures completion of all assets on the asset list and tracks final hand-offs,
development, QA, and live dates
Identifies program risks early on and provides mitigation strategies
Monitors and advocates process; identifies gaps/improvements to work more efficiently
Demonstrates ownership/investment in the work; has clear understanding of business goals
Has a good understanding of budget and co-op funding; tracks program budgets and
facilitates conversation between Creative, Marketing and Production if/when costs impact
design &/or budget
Manages one or more direct reports assigning and tracking their work, and reporting on their status
Mentors one or more direct reports; establishes clear goals for upward career pathing
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
6+ years experience in account, project, or program management in marketing required
Experience in people management preferred
College degree or equivalent experience
Creative project management experience required; agency experience preferred
Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Smartsheets, Box,
Workfront, ProofHQ preferred
Effective relationship-building skills; ability to cultivate strong partnerships across functions to bring
people together toward common goals and consensus
Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in
leading/facilitating cross-functional team meetings to achieve results
Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented
Strong time management skills; ability to troubleshoot issues, juggle multiple programs, and prioritize
High energy and flexibility in a constantly evolving team environment
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.00 to $65.00/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
