The GBO Programs team is the strategic program management arm for the Global Business Organization (GBO).


The Global Program Manager will be responsible for working across LinkedIn’s most critical programs to execute on key decisions and initiatives for the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to act as a partner and advisor to global senior leaders at LinkedIn ranging across sales, operations, finance, marketing, and other cross-functional teams. They will be responsible for driving global strategic initiatives to successful conclusions and helping the business achieve its goals.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Identify and appropriately escalate risks which could jeopardize the successful rollout and recommend options for resolution.
  • Build, coalesce, and champion cross-functional working teams which include Business Operations, Sales Operations, Support Operations, Sales Management, Marketing, Product, Communications, Human Resources, Training and other teams to meet milestones and program objectives.
  • Build project/program management plans and drive execution (managing timelines, tracking and communicating progress, setting expectations with stakeholders, issue resolution).
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders as needed.
  • Advocate and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Define success metrics of program and measure results.
  • Provide a regular cadence of updates to the leadership team on progress and plans to mitigate risk.
  • Define the program governance structure (decision makers, performers, stakeholders), workstreams, and key milestones).
  • Own end-to-end program lifecycle including formulating a hypothesis using data, developing a recommendation, driving decision making with leadership, building stakeholder engagement models, building program plans, and driving change management and operational readiness.
  • Be an effective agent of change by developing a change management framework on what we communicate, how we train teams and support change


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications


  • 7+ years of industry experience in the technology/internet space or management consulting
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, including management of cross-functional programs.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments with changing priorities.
  • Experience with change management and leading organizational transformation
  • Experience in influencing indirect teams to achieve common goals.
  • A commitment to working as part of a hard-working team, yet knows how to have fun.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational, time management skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making.

The pay range for this role is $107,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
