We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, People Partners to join our organization. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing human resources strategies, policies and ways of working across our geographies. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of HR practices in the US, specifically California and has worked in a global company, preferably in gaming. You are a trusted advisor to employees at all levels and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty in order to tackle projects of all sizes!

• Handle employee grievances, conduct investigations as necessary, and recommend appropriate actions to resolve issues in a timely and fair manner.
• Develop and implement human resources strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to managers in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Help manage the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback, and recognition programs.
• Develop and foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the organization.
• Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations, and ensure compliance in all HR activities, including policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address organizational development needs, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
• Prepare HR reports and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and performance, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of organizational development, change management, and talent management strategies.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in all aspects of HR management, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation, and benefits.
• Knowledge of Federal, State employment laws and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical solutions.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are desirable.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of Jam City's total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. In addition, Jam City provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance. Pay Range $102,000 - $170,000
