Job Description

The Manager of Human Resources will serve as a core member of the human resources leadership team for Actuation Products & Services Opco with responsibility for all aspects of human resources across the Shelbyville & North Wales sites.
The Manager of Human Resources will work closely with the site leadership to provide leadership in developing and executing a strategic human capital plan in support of the overall business plans and strategic direction of the organization. Other key areas of focus will include talent acquisition, change management, compensation, and benefits, labor relations, employee engagement, performance management, human resources reporting, leadership and training development.
Preferably, this position would be based out of a Shelbyville, Indiana.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan for sustained change to enable business imperatives; provide expertise and thought leadership on organizational issues and human resources practices. Provide support and direction on the organizational aspects of change initiatives (e.g. business process redesign, job and organization design, and change management).
  • Work with the Triumph Human Resource Leadership Team and the broader human resources group to develop, implement and/or improve human resources processes and systems that will enable the company to support the requirements of its business units, measure the performance of the human resources function, and support business growth in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Partner with the respective leadership teams on strategic initiatives, organization development, change management, and complex employee issues in order to strengthen overall organizational capability.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the business human resources function by overseeing talent management including retention, career development, training and leadership development, compensation and benefits to support the strategic vision.
  • Oversee senior management succession and leadership planning and development to prepare the organization for transformation.
  • Understand the business’s strategy for profitable growth to determine how the talent function can best support the business in reaching those goals now and in the future.
  • Counsel and influence key stake holders to build a high-performance winning culture and an inclusive environment.
  • Work with the Director, Human Resources, and human resources leadership team to drive best-in-class practices and processes across Triumph Group that support and enable the business transformation as well as developing and transforming the human resources organization.
  • Provide clear guidance to management regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs are in compliance with local and governmental regulatory requirements and support the achievement of both short/long-term business objectives.
This position will report to the Director, Human Resources.
Qualifications & Criteria:Minimum Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited institution and 3 years of experience
o HR experience in a plant or operations environment required
o Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship on a continual and on-going basis.
o This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
o Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA from an accredited institution
o Experience working in an industrial company, specifically aerospace and defense, is highly preferred.
o Experience in including labor and employee relations is preferred.
