Job Description
General Description


Human Resource Director must possess experience and knowledge in human resource management, benefits, and submitting reports. HR Director will lead all initiatives related to the desired organizational culture based on our shared vision, mission and core values. Culture and growth of CASB human capacity is central in all we do. Must have a minimum of 3 years of human resource experience, or comparable experience.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources
  • A minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience at the k-12 level preferred
  • Familiarity with Human Resources computer information systems such as Aesop
  • Prior benefits administration experience is desirable
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with all levels of management staff
  • Employment experience in one of the following areas: insurance, personnel, labor relations, salary administration, teaching, or school and/or central office level administration
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, School Administration, or Educational Leadership is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing job descriptions and job offers


Primary Responsibilities


  • Implement onboarding practices system
  • Lead data collection and assessment process to evaluate effectiveness of district culture initiatives
  • Oversee the completion of all state and federal reports required by DOE
  • Implement accountability measures for instructional staff
  • Verification of employment for current and former employees
  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships based upon trust, respect and achievement of common goals
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent
  • Develop and update personnel policies and procedures
  • Oversee the assigning of SPN numbers for new hires
  • Point of contact for benefits for all new employees
  • Serve as the District Title IX Coordinator
  • Recruitment and retention of instructional staff


School Activities


  • Human Resource Director is required to attend and/or participate in such other activities as directed by the Administrator such as: Leadership meetings (before or after school hours), open houses, commencement exercises, chaperone student activities, provide guidance for students, participate on faculty committees, study and help resolve school problems.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, allocate time, and maintain schedule flexibility
  • Ability to use technology for documentation and preparation of professional materials
