This is a unique opportunity to join the Sales team of a leading global life sciences company that advances patient health and powers clear, confident decisions through its diagnostics and drug development offerings.
The Inside Sales Manager leads a staff of (20+) employees and will be based in (Raritan, NJ).
Responsibilities include Managing, Training, Coaching and Mentoring the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) Team, as well as other duties assigned by the Sales Officer.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Review the metrics of the inside sales representatives on a regular basis
- Communicate with client base on a regular basis to maintain service levels
- Managing the PECOS (Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System) initiative
- Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure that the inside sales receive quality leads to pursue
- Ensure service levels are being maintained for assigned client base
- Evaluate current sales practices and procedures to determine whether they are effective in generating sales
- Address any performance related issues and provide corrective action as needed
- Partner with the outside sales management to promote sales growth
- Manage a team of (20+ and growing and 2 Supervisors)
- Hire and train Inside Sales Representatives to ensure they are successful
- Provide leadership with consistent updates for sales campaign results
- Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective clients when needed
- Oversee various campaigns and initiatives to promote sales growth
- Recommend and implementing improvements to current sales practices and procedures as needed
- Create Inside Sales Representatives books of business including territory alignment that will drive growth and retention
- Address any client related issues in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of Sales/Leadership Experience in the Medical/Healthcare industry required
- Ability to drive sales initiatives and campaigns in an effective manner
- Bachelor's Degree is required; Concentration in business is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, LCLS, LCBS, CRM/Salesforce.com and able to learn other Labcorp databases including, but not limited to, DataMart
- Experience in using data to drive decision making
- Previous laboratory experience is required
- Ability to hold your sales team accountable for their metrics
- Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
- Previous experiencing managing and training a sales team is preferred
Pay Range:
