Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our operators, addressing inquiries and providing support related to general recruiting, onboarding, background checks, and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) questions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in call center operations or possess excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the ATS to retrieve and update candidate information, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist operators with system navigation.
  • Assist operators in navigating the recruiting and onboarding process, providing guidance and clarification on procedures, requirements, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR team to stay updated on policies, procedures, and changes related to recruiting, onboarding, and background checks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is shared with operators.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for operators' inquiries through calls and emails, providing timely and accurate information related to recruiting, onboarding, background checks, and ATS questions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex or urgent matters, ensuring timely resolution and operator satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough research and investigation to address operator inquiries, ensuring a comprehensive and accurate response is provided.
  • Identify recurring issues or patterns and proactively suggest improvements or solutions to enhance the HR Help Desk service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to recruiting, onboarding, background checks, and HR technology, continuously enhancing knowledge and expertise.
  • Document all interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in a detailed and organized manner, maintaining accurate records of operator communications and follow-up actions taken.


Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ATS platforms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with recruiting, onboarding, background check processes, and HR compliance.
