Flexible Work Environment
We have implemented a flexible hybrid work schedule that aligns with the university's Flexible Work Policy. This policy accommodates staggered arrival and departure times and allows for adjustments in the number of office workdays, provided the employee's full-time equivalent commitment is met within the university's workweek. The policy also acknowledges the possibility of occasional remote work based on individual circumstances.
Human Resources Support
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of university policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with our human resources initiatives.
Execute Electronic Personnel Action Forms (ePAFs) promptly and accurately upon approval from Lastinger Executive Leadership.
Facilitate time approvals by UF's specified deadline.
Oversee job description updates and pay adjustments, ensuring seamless communication and processing.
Maintain meticulous records and handle Wireless Device Allowances as required.
Manage UF Engaged, Center volunteer work, and probationary check-ins, maintaining well-organized records.
Contribute to the upkeep of the Center's handbook on policies and procedures.
Provide assistance in employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Escalate any employee or supervisor concerns to the HR manager, maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
Collaborate in the recruitment process, including crafting and updating job descriptions, posting openings, and conducting candidate interviews.
Facilitate comprehension of human resources policies and procedures for both managers and employees.
Assist in processing graduate appointment letters and offer recommendations to management on staffing, recruitment, and employee relations matters.
Display adaptability and flexibility in accommodating frequent changes and requests.
Evaluation Systems And Training
Contribute to the establishment of a center-wide evaluation system to support ongoing professional development.
Facilitate center-wide efforts for professional growth and development.
Effectively communicate updates on UF-related matters such as benefits, paid time off, and training opportunities.
General Office Support
Provide support to Lastinger Center Office Managers as needed, including procuring office supplies, receiving and processing deliveries, and offering guidance to office Student Assistants.
Adhere to UF purchasing guidelines and ensure the timely processing of receipts.
Anticipated Compensation
Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Expected Salary: $52,500 - $55,000
