Human Resources Director (Event/Hospitality)

Your new company

A fantastic and highly unique opportunity has arisen at our client who is within the Event Management/Hospitality industry focused on large sporting events globally and setting up operations in the US for the upcoming FIFA 2026 World Cup. You will be the first HR Director within the US entity, helping to set up all areas of HR policies, procedures and programs.

Your new role

Your role will be to plan and oversees HR functional operations, including but not limited to talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, on boarding, training, employee relations, health and safety, immigration and compliance. You will develop and administers HR programs and policies to reflect the organization’s mission and values and support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the employees.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
• Ideally experience across US, Canada and Mexico.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proven ability to manage and develop HR Staff, build strong relationship with Stakeholders and provide excellent service.
• Detailed knowledge of Employment Law Compliance at all levels, including immigration rules and regulations
• Experience in providing HR Leadership to a new start up business within the US.
• Experience of working in a multi-State business, 11 States
• 10 years at senior HR Leadership Level ideally from the event management or hospitality industry
