Job Overview:

As the Human Resources Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment, development, and retention of our talented staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our patients. You will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy development, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies

- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings and screening applicants to conducting interviews and making employment offers

- Coordinate and conduct orientation and onboarding activities for new hires

- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits

- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions

- Oversee performance management processes, including performance appraisals and goal setting

- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

- Submission of Payroll bi-weekly

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR and make recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in human resources, preferably in a healthcare or addiction treatment setting

- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse individuals and teams

- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism

- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
