Position: Human Resources Coordinator
We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The HR Coordinator will provide essential support in various HR functions and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of HR procedures and be committed to maintaining a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support benefits enrollment, answer employee inquiries related to benefits, and liaise with benefits providers.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
- Support HR audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Stay informed about HR-related legal requirements and assist in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Facilitate the offboarding process for departing employees.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and surveys to promote a positive work culture.
- Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities for employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or any other designated software.
- Assist in the distribution of HR-related communications and updates to employees.
- Address employee questions and concerns and escalate more complex issues to the appropriate HR team members.
- Ensure company HR policies and procedures are communicated effectively and adhered to by employees.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proven experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or a similar HR support role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems ADP preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous exposure to benefits administration and payroll processes preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS) ADP preferred.
- Experience in conducting employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
