Responsibilities:

• Coordinates required training, screenings, and certification completions for all new hires, monitor training to make sure they are completed within the first 30 days of hire date.
• Assist HR manager with compliance issues with Federal, State, & local requirements – ensures labor postings are updated and all locations have needed materials.
• Maintains up-to-date employment and training records (personnel, medical/confidential, I-9, etc.) for filing and records retention.
• Ensures completion of employee onboarding – handle I-9 and E-Verify documents.
• Completes data entry in HRIS system for new hires, compensation changes and manager updates.
• Responsible for searching and managing volunteer opportunities, contacting the organizations to coordinate and schedule volunteer hours among team members.
• Acts as back-up to enter terminations into HRIS.

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and issues with tact and diplomacy.
• Proven ability to multi-task; Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment of competing demands and changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree.
